NICKNAME: Lisa

NATIONALITY: Norwegian

Date of birth : 05/10-79 City: Trondheim Country: Norway

Im from Trondheim Norway. The third biggest city in Norway. I still call it home, but of course I'm mostly living in a bag.
I like to travel and I love to meet new cultures and see other countries. Snowboarding has given me an opportunity to do exactly that.

I have always been into sports and music. I had a busy week when I was younger, but I wanted it that way. I just didn't want to miss out on anything. I'm still like that, I feel better and work better when I'm a bit stressed with a lot of things going on in my life. I grew up with an older brother with a lot of influence on me. Every sport and whatever he did, I wanted to do the sameÉand even better to impress him.
I started skiing when I was 4 years old, and I played the piano, violin and was singing in the choir after that. Handball, gymnastics and snowboarding were next up. When my brother started with skateboarding and dirt-bicycling, I was quickly hooked on that too.
If it was up to me, I would keep on doing all activities, but it just wasn't possible. I don't like to do anything half hearted either, so I dropped out of the handball and kept on with gymnastics and snowboarding. Gymnastics gave me a stronger body control and balance which was helping my snowboarding anyway.

I still do some gymnastics as a practise for my snowboard tricks. Wakeboarding is another thing a like. It gives me board control and is a fun alternative during summer.

That's how I grew up in my brothers footsteps Im so glad though, cause he was a healthy/athletic, and a little bit crazy role model for me!
